Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

We are seeking experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineers to join our team and assist one of our customers in the transportation sector. The role involves working within a sophisticated AWS environment, where the ability to design and implement robust infrastructure and DevOps solutions is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
  • Build and manage containerized solutions using ECS, EKS, and Fargate
  • Implement monitoring and observability using tools such as CloudWatch, Lumigo, ELK, or PagerDuty
  • Ensure cost-effective, secure, and resilient AWS environments
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, solution design, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with development teams and act as a cloud subject matter expert


Requirements

  • Deep AWS expertise (EKS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation/Terraform)
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)
  • Experience with disaster recovery, backups, account structures
  • Solid knowledge in monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, ELK, Lumigo, PagerDuty, etc.)
  • Infrastructure automation using IaC tools
  • Strong understanding of serverless and containerized architectures (ECS, EKS, Fargate)


Nice to have:

  • Python or Node.js scripting for infrastructure tasks
  • Experience in high-availability and cost-optimized AWS environments
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures (EventBridge, SQS, Lambda)
  • Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer)
