Product Manager – SMiG

About The Role

Are you passionate about innovation, system integrations, and safety management? Do you thrive in a role where you drive product strategy and collaborate closely with a global organization? We're looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of our SMiG (Safety Management System) product portfolio – a critical system that integrates safety systems, our FDS or GDS among others, into a single, proactive safety platform.

This is a key role in our product team, focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions that help our customers prevent incidents before they happen – at sea and on land.

What You’ll Do

As Product Manager – SMiG, you will:

• Lead the entire product lifecycle: from planning and development to launch and continuous improvement.
• Own and drive strategic initiatives for our SMiG platform – including hardware, software, and system integrations.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, sales, service, and operations to define the roadmap and prioritize development.
• Understand and analyze customer needs, industry trends, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct workshops and trainings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive projects forward, manage bugs and requests, and ensure high product quality.
• Support sales and service teams with insights, manuals, training, and product guidance.
• Shape the future of our safety solutions by contributing to ongoing platform development.
  
  

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in product management or a similar role, ideally within safety, tech, or systems integration.
• A degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• A technical mindset and curiosity – you may not know everything about fire and gas safety yet, but you’re eager to learn.
• Familiarity with system integration, networks, and how to set up or maintain them is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong business understanding and a drive to deliver value to customers.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
