Business Intelligence Manager, Google Cloud

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering.
• Experience in Leadership, such as people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.
• Experience writing SQL queries.
• Experience identifying and resolving data-related issues, including translating data into insights.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA, Master's degree, or advanced degree in a technical or scientific field of study.
• Experience in cloud-based data platforms and related BI services.
• Experience supporting sales operations to create goals and roadmaps to solve business problems.
• Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
  

About The Job

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Lead, you will lead a team of BI Developers who deliver innovative BI solutions to help enable business growth and make Google Cloud Go-to-Market (GTM) teams. You will be using your technical skills, business acumen, and creativity, your team will build robust data pipelines and problem-solving models to support automated reporting and insight generation. This will allow teams to accurately track their metrics to make data decisions. You will be involved in projects from problem solving to design and delivery, ensuring that our workflows optimally deliver quality and relevant data to facilitate business needs. You will partner with members of GTM Strategy and Operations team to understand business problems and deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of BI Developers and Support Engineers, including defining individual and team goals, delegating tasks, coaching and providing feedback.
• Collaborate closely to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into data solutions that prioritize business needs and create a BI roadmap to support GTM strategies.
• Own and drive technical leadership on BI projects from inception to execution by applying Agile or Waterfall methodologies to ensure project delivery.
• Define how your team will address ad-hoc data requests, troubleshoot issues, and handle feature requests from stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with the BI infrastructure team and the Cloud Systems team to leverage existing tools, processes, and code reviews to create robust BI solutions.
