Role: Java Developer
Industry: Financial Services/Fintech
Rate: up to 150-160 pln/h netto+vat - depending on experience
Type of contract: B2B
Duration: long-term cooperation
Location: Hybrid model: 2x/month in the office in Warsaw (when Scrum ceremonies take place)
The core of our system is a monolithic Java application and multiple micro-service applications working with the monolith. We also have several microservices to handle different payment options. We plan to expand the system more and more in the direction of microservices taking over part of the processes now present in the monolith for a better and clearer oversight over the processes vital to our domain.

Main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java applications
- Participate in the redesign phase of the system for optimization and better process oversight.
- Utilize Scrum framework to plan, track, and evaluate work progress.
- Build and integrate APIs.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Java Developer
- Experience in Java 8/17/21.
- Expertise in the monolith architecture
- Strong communication skills in English - the international environment in the project
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Maven in large applications.
- Proficiency with SQL databases.
- Experience in using Git, TeamCity, and Maven.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ, or another messaging platform
- Understanding of microservices
