Product Specialist (Chinese Speaker) - Istanbul (Turkey)

Job Description

As a Product Specialist (Passenger Cars), your primary responsibility will be to support the localization of our passenger vehicle portfolio in the Turkish market and other regions designated by the Product Manager. You will work closely with the Product Manager for Benelux & Turkey and collaborate with product, sales, marketing, and R&D teams in Europe and China to advance localization efforts. You will play a key role in gathering and analyzing market trends, policy changes, competitor dynamics, and user or partner expectations.

You will be part of the European Product Department, focusing on market, customer, policy, and regulation research, as well as competitor analysis. Our goal is to develop a comprehensive product strategy aligned with our vision and objectives. Your role will be critical in ensuring the successful launch and deployment of products.

As a member of the European Product Department, the Product Specialist (Passenger Vehicles) will report directly to the Product Manager for Benelux & Turkey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth regional pricing analysis, providing valuable insights through local market analysis, consumer studies, competitor benchmarking, and periodic pricing reports to support the development of effective regional product pricing strategies.
• Assist in managing product requirements from various stakeholders, including user groups, dealers, and local governments or associations. You will work with cross-functional teams (including R&D, sales, business planning, and marketing) to help translate these requirements into product implementations aligned with our product strategy.
• Support the Product Manager in managing the regional product team, ensuring alignment with local business expansion goals and providing the necessary skills and resources to support product localization in target markets.
• Assist with other local activities, such as compliance testing and product training during the initial (pre-)launch phase of new passenger vehicle models in Europe. By doing so, you will help ensure that our products meet all relevant regulatory frameworks and business requirements.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainable transformation, automotive engineering, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in product management, product engineering, or a related industry.
• Proficiency in English as a working language, with Turkish language skills being a plus.
• Strong data collection and analysis skills, with the ability to extract and present key insights (experience with Power BI and/or data visualization tools is a plus).
• Possession of a valid driving license.
