Our Client is looking for a Product Manager to join their team!
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager of Technology, the Product Manager assumes responsibility for driving product execution and realizing the overarching vision, strategy, and roadmap. The Product Manager translates these elements into actionable user stories that are aligned with business requirements and strategic objectives.
With a keen focus on market research and feature prioritization, the Product Manager leverages that research and data analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to advance product development initiatives. The Product Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and with both internal and external stakeholders, to define, prioritize, implement, and effectively communicate the short and long-term direction for product features. The Product Manager also serves as the subject matter expert for their product.
Job Responsibilities:
• Regularly review product performance data to make informed decisions that drive product success and improvements.
• Engage with prospective customers to conduct discovery sessions and deliver product demonstrations.
• Incorporate direct feedback from users to guide development priorities and enhancements.
• Design and implement A/B testing procedures to validate features and changes based on data-driven insights.
• Perform thorough market research to understand current trends, competitor strategies, and market needs.
• Develop a deep understanding of end users and customer demographics to tailor products that meet their needs in the staffing industry.
• Stay abreast of technological and operational trends within the staffing industry to anticipate market shifts and opportunities.
• Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals of the organization and market demands.
• Encourage and develop innovative solutions to meet market needs, differentiate the product, and solve complex problems creatively.
• Efficiently allocate resources to maximize product development effectiveness and meet key milestones.
• Regularly communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and priorities.
• Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure product goals are met and teams are informed of product developments.
• Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and represent the product in discussions, enhancing customer relationships and satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
• Experience working as a Product Manager/ Owner in a SaaS B2B software company.
• Proven experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, with the ability to wear multiple hats and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Solid technology background with hands-on experience delivering complex, high-impact products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively articulating ideas and influencing others.
• Prior experience or deep knowledge of the staffing industry, understanding key challenges and technological trends.
• Insights into the regulatory and operational nuances of the staffing sector.
• Experience working in Agile Team environments.
• Proven track record in managing all stages of the product lifecycle, from conception through launch and iteration.
• Experience in developing product roadmaps and converting them into actionable plans.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience using data to inform decisions and drive product strategy.
• Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar to analyze product usage and performance.
• Solid background in conducting market research and competitive analysis to understand market trends and identify opportunities.
• Experience in stakeholder management, including presenting to and negotiating with senior leadership.
• Background in software development or direct experience working closely with engineering teams.
• Strategic mindset with a proven ability to identify growth opportunities and pivot product strategy based on market conditions.
• Experience in direct customer engagement and feedback gathering to refine product offerings.
