Responsibilities

Temasek is seeking innovative Product Managers to drive transformation and enhance our capabilities in the evolving technological landscape. We're looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about leveraging technology, design, and data to solve complex business challenges and bring immerse value create value and pleasure to people.

As a Finance and Tax Product Manager within our Technology (Corporate Platform & Services) team, you will:

• Spearhead the Implementation, Delivery, and Maintenance of Finance and Tax systems & related projects.
• Facilitate the users’ product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
• Act as a crucial bridge between business and technology delivery teams, driving both project delivery and day-to-day operations.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Take end-to-end ownership of project delivery, from solution identification to implementation.
• Engage with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to drive solutions and resolve issues.
• Identify improvement opportunities and align business requirements with current architecture.
• Conduct user research and translate insights into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Design and iterate on product functionality to ensure optimal user experience.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders in an agile environment.
• Manage BAU aspects of systems, including monitoring and maintaining the operational health of the core systems. Ensure all teams adhere to system availability, reliability, and performance meet defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Ask smart questions, take risks, pivot and champion new ideas.
  
  

Requirements

• A passion for People, Design, Data, and Technology
• 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on finance and tax-related projects.
• Experience in managing for medium to large complex project delivery, managing work delivered through multiple third parties delivery team. Should have good experience in across delivering digital or custom solutions, integrating with package and/or SaaS enterprise solutions.
• Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
• Experience in delivering and having In-depth knowledge of Financial systems and Tax solutions
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong skills in user-centered design and Agile Delivery Methodologies
• Experience in asset management or investment firms (preferred)
• Ability to adapt to various roles and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to project manage and work with cross-functional teams, different stakeholders.
• Possess knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly in finance modules.
• Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools used in finance.
• Familiarity with cloud-based financial systems
