Full Stack Engineer

Optomi in partnership with a leader in their industry is seeking a full stack developer to work on a greenfield application. Do you have a passion for building high-quality applications on low latency that will have an impact on the supply chain for over millions of users.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid to Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Full Stack Engineering team.

You will play a key role in developing a greenfield application in React, Next, Node that is currently being hosted in AS/400.

Core Skills

• 5+ years total experience delivering enterprise grade responsive web applications using React/Next JS
• 3+ Experience in mid-tier like NodeJS and TypeScript
• 5+ Experience in front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3, Design Systems (Tailwind CSS)
• 5+ years of professional working experience delivering production-ready code
• Proven working experience in Javascript development
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Cloud Design Patterns
• Deep insight of JavaScript and Reactive frameworks
• Experience in UI frameworks like React/NextJS
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SOL and ORM technologies
• Experience with test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional and performace testing
• Solid foundation in writing scalable web application code following best practices of accessibility and instrumentation
• You must have understanding with a messaging system such as Kafka, Rabbit MQ, SQS

Desired Skill

• Hands-On Experience In coding ReactJS/NextJS in Component driven development
• Next.js- deep understanding of server side rendering, execution, etc
• Node- Both API development and middleware
• Hands-On Experience In coding RESTful APls
• Practical experience In developing applications using microservices and container technologies
• Strong aptitude for delivering highly optimized and high performance code
• Profound experience in developing next-generation scalable web applications
• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Proven experience in creating scalable, high-performance web applications (NextJS, React.js, Node.js)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Expert understanding of Engineering Excellence processes and requirements
• Expertise and knowledge in modem engineering practices (Continuous integration, TDD, automated deployments with integrated quality gates) that drive support/agillty In software delivery
• Contribute to overall site stability. including code reviews, writing unit and integration tests
• Believes no code is complete without Unit & Integration, Security, Performance, E2E Automation testing
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English to communicate effectively
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
