The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to implement solutions that enhance performance, security, and scalability. Your expertise in AWS services, containerization technologies, and automation tools will be crucial to driving continuous integration and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems.

The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to implement solutions that enhance performance, security, and scalability. Your expertise in AWS services, containerization technologies, and automation tools will be crucial to driving continuous integration and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and highly available cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services. GCP is a plus
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline for automated deployment of applications to AWS.
- Monitor and optimize Cloud services to ensure the performance of the system.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance and ensure its reliability and availability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications deployed on AWS.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Ensure security of cloud infrastructure and applications by implementing security best practices and adhering to industry standards.
- Help other non-technical teams to automate manual processes to reduce and simplify their work.
- Provide tools and guidance to developers for debugging and logging the services.
- Write and maintain documentation related to the previous items if applied.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, CircleCI, and Jenkins.
- Good understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts and tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in AWS.
