On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Capital Markets Project Manager - RWA for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s New York office.

Junior Project Manager (Capital Markets + RWA) - Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Capital Markets Project Manager - RWA to join our client’s core central Program Management Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams, while providing subject matter expertise and functional, sustainable solutions.

Junior Project Manager (Capital Markets + RWA) - Responsibilities:

• Support Program Initiative leads to drive strategic deliverables.

• Lead or participate in working groups and workshops to understand business requirements, define project plans, and manage timelines.

• Provide guidance, support, and constructive challenge on business initiatives to ensure alignment with program strategy.

• Ensure that all target state tools, processes, and controls are socialized effectively and approved at the appropriate governance level.

• Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, collaborating with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control, and Technology teams.

• Identify challenges and proactively resolve or escalate risks and issues in a timely, well-articulated manner.

• Engage senior stakeholders continuously, escalating and resolving issues as they arise.

• Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts for various forums and committees.

• Build strong relationships and adopt a joined-up approach to support program execution.

Junior Project Manager (Capital Markets + RWA) - RWA - Mandatory Skills:

• Proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions.

• Experience in FO/COO/Finance Transformation with execution deliverables met.

• Significant experience in scoping, developing, and prioritizing plans for strategic initiatives.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills; articulate and persuasive.

• Solid understanding of performance tracking and communication mechanisms.

• Ability to drive change across a global organization.

• Thought leadership in target state design through stakeholder engagement.

Junior Project Manager (Capital Markets + RWA) - RWA – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Project Management certifications e.g., PMP or equivalent.

• Ability to face senior stakeholders, summarize issues, and respond to challenges succinctly and convincingly.
