Senior Network Engineer | $110,000 - $130,000 | Hybrid – Austin, TX

Are you a seasoned network engineer ready to step into a high-impact, senior-level role?

We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our critical network infrastructure. If you thrive on solving complex problems, designing scalable solutions, and being the subject matter expert others turn to — this role is built for you.

You’ll work across LAN, WAN, campus, and wireless environments with a focus on high availability, network security, and system performance. This is a strategic, hands-on position with plenty of room to lead initiatives, mentor others, and shape the future of our network architecture.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade networks (routers, multilayer switches, firewalls, wireless controllers)
• Support and optimize our WAN, LAN, and wireless environments with a focus on performance, uptime, and cost-efficiency
• Lead root cause analysis and remediation of critical outages across hardware, OS, and application layers
• Act as the go-to SME for vendors, tooling, and internal technical strategy
• Write, update, and follow network maintenance procedures and documentation
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and building team strength
• Own problems from detection to resolution — and ensure lessons learned drive future success

What You'll Bring:

• 9+ years of network engineering experience
• Deep understanding of LAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN infrastructure
• Expertise in Cisco IOS / IOS-XE, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Unified Communications
• Aruba Wireless and ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) experience
• Strong command of routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VRF
• Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds Orion, Infoblox, NetBrain
• Experience with network access tools: RADIUS, TACACS, and privileged identity management
• Bonus: scripting experience with Python and Ansible
