Job Purpose

The Specialist – Enterprise Architecture (EA) plays a critical role in facilitating and implementing enterprise-wide architecture and processes that support strategic business changes and technology direction. The position ensures enterprise architecture alignment with business transformation efforts, defines architecture standards, policies, and KPIs, and facilitates the creation and review of systems capability strategies aligned to business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently design or refine enterprise, infrastructure, and functional architectures using appropriate tools.
• Communicate complex architectural concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Produce detailed specifications for cloud-based or on-premise systems, tiers, and interfaces.
• Evaluate alternative architectures and recommend optimal solutions based on cost, scalability, and performance.
• Provide strong architectural input to cloud and on-premise system specifications.
• Support change programs with technical plans that comply with enterprise architecture standards.
• Set architecture quality standards and participate in solution design reviews.
• Conduct formal reviews at project completion and document lessons learned.
• Lead and contribute to technical brainstorming and innovation sessions.
• Research emerging technologies and share findings to drive architectural improvements.
• Provide advisory services across technical, planning, budgetary, and compliance contexts.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or Zachman are mandatory.
• Project management certifications like PMP (PMI) or Prince2 (BCS) are desirable.
• 8+ years of experience in IT architecture, with proven exposure to business and technology alignment.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), software development lifecycle, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with SAP (Finance & Supply modules) and project management tools like EPM or MS Project.
• Familiarity with industry standards (IEEE, ISO, BSI).
• Deep knowledge of application systems, cloud/virtualization, middleware, system design principles, and risk/change management.
• Skilled in business analysis, stakeholder communication, and technical documentation.
• Awareness of security, compliance, data governance, and operational standards.
