Senior Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• In depth skills in delivering technology projects including IT Infrastructure, Applications and on cloud.
• Develop, maintain, and update relevant project documents including project charter, risk register, timelines, budget and staffing.
• Set and tracks project milestones; manage and mitigate unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectations as needed.
• Establish and implement the project communication plans, provide status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
• Consistently collect, analyses, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
• Assign duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.
• Oversee the day-to-day project activities and respond to stakeholder’s queries.
• Conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handle and resolve project disciplinary issues as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Proven experience to execute the complex and multi-vendor IT solutions end-to-end.

• Consistently collect, analyses, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
• Assign duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
• Ensures that projects remain in-scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.
• Creates, manages, and distributes project communications artifacts like charters, schedules, and budgets.
• Provides project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders.
• Communicates routinely to management, customers, project team members, and other stakeholders, actively soliciting and addressing customer and project team feedback.
• Ensures adherence to legally binding requirements.
• Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project, including subcontractor monitoring.
• Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plan.
• Plans and leads status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and customers.
• Responsible for training, managing, and motivating the project team, as well as resolving team conflicts.
• Resolves technical and operational issues as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors / master’s degree in computer science or Equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in project management or relevant fields
• PMP, ITIL, TOGAF (preferred).
• Proven skills and experience in the similar role.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to convey complex technical information concisely.
• A high level of motivation in learning new technologies.
• Hard worker, self-motivated and result-driven individual.

• Ability to work well in groups and independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
