Full stack Developer

Are you a Fullstack Developer who likes working with Javascript, PHP and React? And looking for a versatile development role to build a state-of-the-art marketplace? Trustoo - a rapidly growing scale-up - is looking for an experienced Developer to strengthen our platform development team.

Have you ever looked for a painter or an accountant online? It can be quite a search on the internet. That is why we started Trustoo in 2019. Trustoo is the online marketplace for local entrepreneurs, where visitors can easily find the best companies. Think of Booking.com or Tripadvisor, but for local businesses. Trustoo offers a digital platform to about 150,000 local companies in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium & soon others to follow.

Our team consists of about 60 enthusiastic driven colleagues, who will make sure you enjoy going to work every day. Who are together developing and scaling up the Trustoo platform.

Position

As a Developer at Trustoo, you work on many aspects of the platform. We are continuously adding new functionality to the end-user front-end, apps, customer dashboards and the infrastructure. As we are growing and scaling up, we want to keep improving and keep using the latest technology.

In the heart of our success is the close cooperation between the developers, product managers and marketeers (incl. UX/UI, Content & SEO specialist). That is why we do this all inhouse with a dedicated team. This way we can really innovate and learn quickly what works and what not.

In short, a very broad and varied Development role. In which you:

• Work many aspects of the platform, such as frond-end (AB testing), API connections, dashboards, search and data
• Work closely with other developers, product managers and online specialist to learn and innovate
• Together with a highly motivated team build a best in class and scalable services marketplace.
  
  

What Your Day Looks Like

You start your day with a short meeting with your colleagues of the platform team. What do we have to do today? What are the dependencies? What needs to be delivered?

You organize and plan the work yourself and work according to your own schedule, which is based on the quarterly roadmap and the sprint planning. It is a very versatile role, in which you plan, develop, test and implement. With the open culture, direct access to the founders and the relatively small company, we can quickly make the necessary decisions that are needed for a great result.

Every week we close together with all colleagues. All goals achieved again? Can we show nice progress again? Great! Then enjoy weekend and go for it again the week after.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Someone with an Academic level of work and thinking
• Available full-time or part-time (32-40 hours per week)
• Can work in the office in Amsterdam at least three days per week (it can be done hybrid, but not fully remote)
• 4 years or more experience as a full-stack developer
• Knowledge of Javascript and PHP are essential. And preferably REACT.
• Solution & result-driven; eager to learn and strong analytical skills
• Open to a fantastic adventure to build the leading services marketplace in Europe
