About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to joining one of our clients based in Sydney. If you love solving real-world problems with data and creating smart, scalable solutions — we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with business teams to understand problems and translate them into ML solutions
- Build and deploy machine learning models that deliver measurable value
- Write clean, efficient code in Python, R, or Java
- Train, test, and fine-tune models using modern ML libraries
- Communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- (Optional but preferred) Help design ML pipelines and solutions on cloud platforms
What You Should Bring
- 4+ years of experience in ML, Data Science, or related field
- Strong foundation in regression, classification, and common ML techniques
- Hands-on experience with tools like Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Proficiency in Python or R
- Ability to explain complex models and results in simple terms
- Basic experience with SQL and working with large datasets
- Familiarity with deploying models or working on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP (a plus, not required)
