Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Operations Clerk is responsible for all administration support across the JETS Transport Melbourne base including (but not limited to) office administration duties for truck deliveries and pick-ups, freight labelling, coordination of correspondence and communication and any customer queries/investigations.
You will be a highly organised individual, who thrives on working in an environment driven by deadlines. You will also enjoy working with a group of individuals and be motivated by the prospect of working within a team to achieve goals. If you are customer-centric, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent time management skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You'll have -
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Demonstrated experience in transport and logistics
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a changing environment, and being a champion for future improvement
- Proactive and confident with proven time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with an exceptional attention to detail
- Quick learning abilities for systems
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotational shift roster
