Job Description: Data Analyst - Retail and Buying Team

Location: Hainaut (Hybrid: 2 days remote, 3 days on-site)

Team Size: 30 people (You will work closely with 2 buyers)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our client's Data and Buying team. You will collaborate directly with the buying team, supporting key decision-making processes related to economic data, margin calculations, and retail operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data analysis, particularly in the retail or supply chain sector. The candidate should be comfortable working with Power BI, Excel, and other visualization tools to develop clear dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze economic data to provide insights for the buying team.
• Perform margin calculations and assess profitability.
• Generate reports on supply statistics and operational retail metrics.
• Collaborate with buyers to optimize purchasing strategies and ensure data-driven decisions.
• Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Excel to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
  
  

Key Skills And Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on economic and retail data.
• Proficient in Power BI and Excel, with experience in visualization and dashboarding.
• Experience in supply chain or retail operations is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate margins and assess performance metrics.
• Bilingual: Fluent in either French or Dutch with at least passive knowledge of the other language.
