Your Role
You build up and operate global services to support K+N development teams during the software development lifecycle, with: source code management, CI/CD, artifacts management, logging workloads management and APM. You support our vision to provide a modern and cloud native DevOps platform using GitLab in AWS, in alignment with cloud transformation mission. Day-to-day you will engage directly with internal customers, developers, and numerous other teams to better optimize their workflows through automation and well-designed systems. You ensure that cloud-based infrastructure and services are utilized as efficiently as possible across our services without creating silos or “knowledge islands” You champion practices like Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps and integrate it seamlessly with surrounding infrastructure and processes.

Your Role

You support our vision to provide a modern and cloud native DevOps platform using GitLab in AWS, in alignment with cloud transformation mission. Day-to-day you will engage directly with internal customers, developers, and numerous other teams to better optimize their workflows through automation and well-designed systems. You ensure that cloud-based infrastructure and services are utilized as efficiently as possible across our services without creating silos or “knowledge islands” You champion practices like Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps and integrate it seamlessly with surrounding infrastructure and processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Taking part in managing non-production and production environments for services.
- Implementing observability pillars with centralized monitoring, logging and alerting.
- Automating tasks and processes as much as possible.
- Collaborating with infrastructure and product development teams to improve our products and processes.
- Ensure security and compliance across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Promoting DevOps culture and mindset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position (DevOps engineer, SRE, Platform engineer)
- You have either ample hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (optimally AWS)
- Strong background in Linux with hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Ansible preferred).
- Strong experience managing and using CI/CD tools (optimally GitLab).
- Proficient scripting skills in automating routine tasks (Python, Groovy or Bash preferred).
- Strong experience with container tooling and orchestration (Kubernetes or OpenShift)
- You have an attitude to build solutions that do not “reinvent the wheel” but can rather themselves serve as blueprints for tackling similar or even new challenges
- You optimally have some experience with hybrid infrastructures, i.e. connecting the cloud and the on-premise world in a secure and reliable way.

- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
