Senior Java Developer - IBM Client Innovation Center Belgium

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for talented people to design, develop and support application solutions.

This role requires the ability to design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, to integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects scattered on multiple platforms.

Your work will power IBM and its clients, bringing innovation into enterprise systems. You will have access to the latest education, tools and technology, and a career path within the world’s technology leader company.

As a Java Developer You Will

• Development for specific systems on a range of platforms including Linux, Windows and various mobile environments
• Working within the entire development life cycle including design, build, and coding
• Using object-oriented programming languages and tools to deliver a range of solutions
  
  
  

Who are you?

• You are self-motivated and technically hands-on
• You have several years in Java (8), Spring or other object-oriented programming languages
• You have solid experience Software Design Patterns and Database technologies such as MongoDB, Postgres or MySQL
• Git and Git branching strategies
• Understanding and experience of APIs RESTful services and micro service Architectures
