About The Role

PRNEWS.IO is looking for an experienced People Business Partner to join our People Function team. The core focus of this role is to drive people processes and strategy in accordance with Estonian labour law together with leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, offboarding).
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures;
  • Conduct eNPS Employee Satisfaction surveys across functional areas;
  • Maintain HR documentation and reports with high accuracy;
  • Provide HR support to foreign employees, ensuring smooth integration;
  • Assist with work permits, relocation, and adaptation processes;
  • Drive people processes, tools, programs, practices, people strategies and solutions within an organizational unit or country level in close cooperation with line management and global teams;
  • Advise and partner with internal and external stakeholders and leaders about local people-related matters;
  • Manage payroll and salary-related matters like salary indexation;
  • Take the lead in the People Compliance space across units located in Estonia by proactively implementing global and unit-specific compliance projects and processes;

The Skills We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years in HR, ideally in a startup company;
  • Knowledge and practical implementation of labour law in Estonia;
  • Experience with BambooHR with process automation;
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management;
  • Proven experience in organizing and implementing HR processes;
  • Ability to work hands-on while thinking strategically;
  • English and Estonian languages: preferably Upper-Intermediate (B2), Russian (B2-C1).
  • Occupational Health and Safety work-related process execution.
