Senior Front-End Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join Supermetrics!

The Destinations Team focuses on enhancing the customer experience by developing and maintaining our products across multiple platforms. We're responsible for key integrations like Google Sheets add-on, Looker Studio connectors, Power BI, and Excel integrations. As the team grows, so do our challenges and responsibilities. You'll be joining as the second Front-End Engineer, working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to drive the continuous improvement of our products and tackle some exciting, complex problems.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Front-End Engineer, your role will be pivotal in shaping the user interfaces of our products and ensuring a seamless user experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain UIs for products across platforms like Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Power BI, and Excel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineers to deliver new features, improvements, and ensure a cohesive product experience.
• Ensure continuous support and improvement for existing products, maintaining a high level of usability and performance.
• Debug and resolve issues, ensuring that our products run smoothly across different environments.
• Optimize the user experience by improving performance, reducing load times, and ensuring smooth interaction.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed, and maintaining high-quality, clean code.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of TypeScript and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Strong experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the UI.
• Proficiency in optimizing website performance, including reducing loading times, minimizing resource usage, and ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Knowledge of user authentication, authorization mechanisms, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues.
• Fluent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience working with Google Workspace (G Suite), especially building Google Sheets add-ons or Looker Studio connectors.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest.
• Experience building office add-ons for platforms like Power BI and Excel.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles to help create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Familiarity with backend development (Apps Script, PHP) to understand full-stack product needs.
• Knowledge of the advertising industry and experience with data connectors for advertising platforms.
