Information Security Officer

🚀 We are now looking for an Information Security Officer (ISO) to drive our Cyber Security Strategy forward in close collaboration with our IT Operations Team. If you’re passionate about security, risk management, and making a real impact, this is your opportunity to shine!

As part of our cross-Fellowmind Security Office, you will ensure that our information assets and technologies are protected to the highest standards. Reporting to the Group CIO, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and overseeing our cybersecurity and IT risk management program.

This role includes working both in Finland and in an international environment, contributing to security initiatives across Fellowmind globally, with team members located in Finland, the Netherlands and Denmark.

If you join us as an ISO, your focus will be on working closely with operations, designing, building, and maintaining security controls.

🔹 Develop and implement a forward-thinking, enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy.
🔹 Own and drive key security initiatives, including penetration testing, baseline verification, detection processes, and security backlog management.

🔹 Identify, assess, and manage security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats.
🔹 Lead the development and implementation of ISAE 3402 and ISO 27001 frameworks across the organization.

🔹 Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
🔹 Develop and maintain policies and procedures that align with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
🔹 Conduct audits and security assessments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

🔹 Act as the bridge between IT, business units, and leadership, ensuring alignment between security initiatives and business goals.
🔹 Support our consultants in client-facing engagements by offering security-related expertise and guidance.
🔹 Communicate security risks and strategies effectively to senior management and external partners.
🔹 Take ownership of internal security communications by helping teams understand what constitutes a cybersecurity risk and how to mitigate potential threats.

🔹 Work closely with IT Operations to implement robust security measures.
🔹 Lead security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability remediation.
🔹 Oversee incident response processes, including detection and mitigation efforts.

🔹 Ensure security best practices are integrated into IT projects and operations.
🔹 Be actively involved in shaping and implementing technical security architecture and ensure its alignment with business needs.
🔹 Evaluate and manage third-party relationships to ensure compliance with our security policies and standards.

What we except from you

✅ Suitable academic background
✅ Several years of experience in information security✅ Strong verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English.
✅ Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and best security practices.
✅ Experience with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR.
✅ A proven track record of building and implementing security programs that make an impact.
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
✅ Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus!
