(Senior) Engineer – Infotainment

For our Engineering Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for a (Senior) Engineer – Infotainment

We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual wo will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.

Job Description:

• Ensure the adaptation of the Infotainment system for European customers and legal requirements
• Ensure Chery vehicles in Europe are easy to use and intuitive
• Ensure Chery vehicle infotainment system in Europe have all relevant Apps&functions for a successful Europe market entry
• Capture customer requirements and transform them into user stories and features to build up a product vision and roadmap
• Define Unique Selling Points in the area of Infotainment to support the defined market position of Chery vehicles in Europe
• Run detailed benchmark analysis on Infotainment systems of competing models/brands in Europe
• Support Infotainment team with a user-centric approach
• Monitor latest upcoming development trends and technological requirements in the field of Infotainment
• Close collaboration with development teams in our R&D centers in Wuhu & Shanghai (China) and the Europe market related subsidiaries (Marketing, Sales, Quality) from the technical and commercial perspective

Requirements:

• You have a Degree in Electronic Engineering or comparable
• You have significant (>5 years) experience in a similar position for infotainment systems at Tier1 or OEM
• You are able to balance system setup to achieve high level of customer acceptance
• You are willing to travel and have a valid European driving license
• You are willing to work in an international and intercultural environment
• You have a pro-active and self-motivated attitude
• You are a good communicator with an open and structured mindset
• You have good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.)
• You are fluent in English
• Mandarin skills advantageous
