Investment Analyst (Asset Based Finance)

Our client is one of the world’s largest and most successful investment firms with a 40+ year track record of investment excellence. They are looking at hiring a number of candidates in Q1 2025 due to further growth and expansion. This position will sit on a team that is responsible for their Asset Based Lending portfolio.

Responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring portfolio company trading performance through detailed financial statements analysis & dialogue with the company
• Investment analysis
• Financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
• Preparation of quarterly reviews and presentation to Investment Committee

The key attributes required from successful candidates are:

• 2-5 years relevant experience at minimum (i.e. investment banking, aircraft leasing, real estate, mbs, fixed income, syndicated finance, FIG, corporate finance, private equity, transaction services, restructuring, deals or credit rating)
• Excellent academic background
• ACA or CFA qualified not essential but preferred
• Strong commercial awareness
• A deep understanding of financial statements / financial modelling
