Network Support Engineer

Summary

emagine is seeking a dedicated Network Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and attributes necessary to excel in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage complex network infrastructures within data centres, emphasizing BGP eVPN environments.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain HPE Comware switches and relevant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot network issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that support business goals and optimize network performance.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive network documentation.

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years of senior-level experience in network engineering.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or HPE SD/WAN deployment professional.
  • Experience in troubleshooting network-related issues and providing technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with data centre environments and operations.
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN).
  • Experience with HPE Intelligent Management Centre (IMC).
  • Strong incident analysis and resolution skills.

Other Details

  • The consultant is expected to commence services by early June 2025.
  • A full driving license and access to transport may be required.
  • The selected candidate must provide certified copies of certifications prior to contract award.
