Cloud Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and lead the design and implementation of cloud-native data architectures for industrial machine monitoring solutions. This role involves close collaboration with solution architects and software developers to ensure the secure, efficient, and scalable handling of data across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of source code and provide technical oversight
• Provision and configure cloud infrastructure and services
• Design and implement robust SQL and NoSQL database solutions
• Develop secure and efficient APIs to support data exchange
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and best practices
• Support and mentor junior developers, fostering technical excellence
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers

Required Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Experience with cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS RDS, S3, Lambda, Kinesis)
• Strong understanding of data pipeline design and ETL/ELT processes
• Familiarity with API development (REST, GraphQL)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Solid knowledge of cloud security principles and access control mechanisms
