IT System Administrator

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of IT System Administrator will primarily manage and enhance the

company's computer networks, ensuring secure and efficient operations. This role involves

configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network systems while also supporting other IT

infrastructure components to maintain seamless business operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, high-performing local and external networks, multi-cloud infrastructure, and network security measures to safeguard data and systems.
• Setup, configure and administrate various IT solutions.
• Utilize monitoring tools like Zabbix to oversee system health and identify potential threats or performance bottlenecks.
• Work with various cloud solutions like Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, and others.
• Administrate InTune, Entra, Exchange Online, Sharepoint, PowerApps, Azure.
• Implement various policies based on legal and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ in network-related roles such as System Administrator or Network Engineer.
• Proven experience configuring and securing networks, including firewalls, switches, routers, VPN tunnels, QoS, and RADIUS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Linux server administration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 solutions (Office, SharePoint, Power Apps).
• Understanding of backup solutions and disaster recovery processes.
• Practical experience with JIRA and JIRA Service Management (JIRA SM) configuration and new process will be considered as an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Latvian languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure scenarios.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
