A private equity investment holding company investing in businesses across Europe is currently inviting an Investment Analyst to join its team in Vilnius!
Responsibilities:
• Perform qualitative and quantitative research, analyze financial data, monitor market trends, industry dynamics and competitive landscapes.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, build complex financial models (DCF, LBO) for valuation, structuring, scenario and return analysis.
• Coordinate various due diligence streams (incl. financial, tax, commercial and legal); identify, analyze and mitigate investment risks across investments.
• Assist in the preparation and review of transaction documents, such as term sheets, non-binding proposals, as well as presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support financial controlling activities and oversee performance of the portfolio companies, including tracking budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation for investments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting and finance, to execute transactions.
• Support the investment team by performing ad-hoc analyses, data gathering and other tasks to facilitate decision-making.

Requirements:
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or an equivalent field.
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or a similar role.
• Demonstrate strong financial modeling skills, solid understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and investment and valuation principles.
• Integrity, diligence and critical thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German and/or Polish languages to be considered as an advantage.
• CFA designation or enrollment in the CFA or a similar program to be considered as an advantage.
