Clubee pursues the vision of fully automating sports organizations (clubs, teams, federations) by giving them a new, virtual assistant. Club managers take decisions, the virtual assistant does the rest.
That way we bring fully automated communication, marketing, finance, CRM and more to sports organizations in Europe.
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to improve our software’s performance and usability.
Your responsibilities and main duties:
- Design and implement a QA strategy from the ground up, tailored to the needs of a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
- Establish and maintain a dependency matrix to track integration points, external services, and critical business flows.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks (e.g., for API, UI, and regression testing) using modern tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Postman, etc.).
- Set up and manage test environments to mirror production conditions and ensure consistent, reliable testing.
- Define and maintain test plans, user stories, and test cases in collaboration with product, dev, and design teams.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes with internal stakeholders and customers when relevant.
- Introduce and advocate for shift-left testing practices, integrating QA into the development lifecycle from day one.
- Own the bug lifecycle, from identification to resolution, including prioritization and communication with relevant teams.
- Together with the development and Devops teams, implement and maintain CI/CD test integration, ensuring automated tests run reliably in the deployment pipeline.
- Track and report on QA metrics to help assess product readiness and quality over time.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to ensure clear requirements and high-quality deliverables.
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset to all QA processes, tooling, and team practices.
Your education, experience, skills :
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in a software product environment.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Passion for sports and an understanding of the challenges faced by sports managers is a plus.
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
- Previous work experience in a small startup environment, where adaptability and initiative are key.
Personal characteristics, aptitudes:
- A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to data management
- Ability to constantly cooperate with other members of our development team
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- You speak English fluently
