Main goal

To coordinate content as effectively as possible with national associations and clubs participating in UEFA competitions, ensuring that this content is sourced, edited, published and shared with UEFA stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with national associations and clubs to organise editorial interviews, photo shoots, social media activities and corporate messaging for UEFA’s owned and operated digital and broadcast platforms, as well as ensuring that the necessary legal clearance to use content is obtained, documented and archived
  • Gathering, coordinating, prioritising and documenting internal stakeholders' editorial requirements (topics, questions, pieces to camera, photo needs, B-roll)
  • Drafting filming and event memos and presentations for shoots being conducted with teams or at UEFA events and sharing them with relevant internal or external stakeholders
  • Maintaining the unit's content coordination shoots and memo tool so that internal stakeholders are kept informed at all times of what is happening and can coordinate their needs with the unit
  • Liaising with national associations and clubs to ensure interview transcripts are shared in a timely manner and getting approval to share transcripts, photos and filming on UEFA platforms
  • Maintaining the UEFA file-sharing platform used to send material back to national associations and clubs and ensuring that syndication plans are implemented
  • Liaising with colleagues to deliver workshops with national associations and clubs
  • Ensuring that all procedures outlined by the Content Coordination Manager or the Head of Editorial Content Services are always followed

Requirements

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in an editorial/content-gathering environment
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working in a sports organisation

Education:

  • Bachelors' degree or qualification in communications, public relations or sports management

Languages:

  • English / Advanced

Other requirements:

  • MS Office / Advanced
  • Experience in project management
  • Coping with pressures and setbacks
  • Ability to work with people
  • Good planning and organisation skills
