Network Engineer


Description:


Join the team of one of our clients as a Network Engineer. You will be part of a dynamic and agile team, responsible for managing and deploying network infrastructures in Belgium. We are looking for an experienced professional capable of designing, implementing, and managing reliable and secure network solutions that support business requirements.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Daily management of network equipment: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, proxies, etc.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for network incident resolution, including monitoring and managing issues through dedicated tools.
  • Participate in network projects, ensuring that solutions are aligned with the group’s security policies and documenting these solutions.
  • Monitor changes and deploy new network infrastructures, including updates and migration management.
  • Collaborate with teams in Belgium and internationally to ensure optimal system performance in line with established SLAs/KPIs.
  • Participate in an on-call (24/7) rotation to handle critical incidents (P1/P2).


Required Technical Skills:


  • Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco infrastructure (switching, routing, Wi-Fi, Remote Access).
  • Experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto), F5 load balancing, and Infoblox for DNS management.
  • Strong knowledge of network monitoring and configuration management tools.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues in large-scale environments.


Experience and Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years of experience in network administration within large enterprise environments.
  • Cisco certifications (CCNP or equivalent) highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English (French and Dutch are a plus).
