Salary: €4,000 – €6,000 p/month (depending on experience) + holiday pay

Contract: Full-time

A fast-growing technology scale-up in the energy sector is looking for a Senior Front-end Developer to take a leading role in building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for its AI-powered Energy Management System (EMS). The platform helps businesses make smarter, data-driven energy decisions — reducing costs, cutting emissions, and navigating the energy transition with confidence.

This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary product team where front-end quality, UX, and performance are central to the mission. The role offers both technical ownership and the chance to shape the user experience in a high-impact, real-world domain.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead front-end development using TypeScript, React, and modern tooling
• Build and maintain responsive, scalable UI components and design systems
• Translate complex energy and data logic into simple, usable interfaces
• Write clean, testable code with a strong focus on performance and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with developers, data scientists, UX designers, and operations
• Support team growth by mentoring developers and contributing to best practices

Ideal candidate profile:

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript and responsive UI design principles
• Bonus if experienced with Node.js, Next.js, GitLab CI/CD, or Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and design systems
• Familiar with Clean Code methodology and automated testing
• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• Located in or open to relocating to the Eindhoven / Brainport region
