Senior .NET Backend Developer – iGaming / Sportsbook (Fully Remote)

At Playnetic, we don't just build games; we build the tech that powers the future of regulated iGaming. And right now, we're growing our Sportsbook team, with a clear roadmap and a meaningful project you'll want to own.

You'll join a tight-knit, cross-functional product team responsible for building and maintaining a B2C Sportsbook that powers 16 live casino sites, two of which feature a Sportsbook offering. Our Sportsbook product has been quietly evolving for the past year, and now we're ready to level it up.

*You may have guessed already, but you must have Sportsbook experience for this role.

The current team is made up of:

• 4 Backend Engineers (including the Tech Lead)
• 1 Frontend Engineer
• 2 QA Engineers (we're hiring a third—one QA just moved into a Project Manager role)
• 1 Product Owner
• 1 Project Manager (former QA who knows the product inside out)

There's plenty of room to grow here, and we actively support internal progression—just like we did with our newest PM.

Over the next few months, the team will be focused on a key integration project that's central to our Sportsbook offering. It involves building a new backend integration from the ground up, offering plenty of opportunities to work on clean architecture, system design, and real-time data handling.

This is a greenfield project that will directly improve the stability, scalability, and long-term flexibility of our Sportsbook platform. You'll have the chance to make a tangible impact on a live B2C product used across multiple casino sites.

Our tech stack includes .NET, Angular (soon migrating to React), Kafka, and PostgreSQL, with an architecture that currently sits between a monolith and microservices. We're gradually moving toward a microservices-first approach across the business, and this project will help lay some of that groundwork.

1. Intro Call – A chat with our recruiter to learn about your background, and for you to learn about us.
2. Technical Interview – A one-hour conversation with a few of the engineers you'd be working with. No live coding, no whiteboards.
3. Final Interview – A combined technical and cultural-fit conversation with Petar, our Tech Lead.
