Data Analysis Engineer 1

Position Overview

play a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy and maintaining databases. The primary focus is on statistical data analysis, with an aim to incorporate more machine learning techniques in the future. A long-term goal is to help drive data-based decision-making within the foundry.

Ideal for early in career and designed for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the organization's data analysis efforts, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Management, ,Data Analysis, Reporting and Visualization, Quality Control, Process Improvement and Data Automation.

• Collect and analyze data from various sources including production logs and sensors.
• Assist in the development of dashboards and reports for data presentation.
• Perform data cleaning and maintenance of databases to ensure data integrity.
• Conduct root cause analysis on defects and quality metrics monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data trends and support process improvement initiatives.
• Support data acquisition and collection efforts, ensuring real-time data monitoring where applicable.
• Participate in the development and implementation of automation tools for workflow automation.
  
  

Excellent mentoring and coaching available and best candidates are actively to seek guidance and feedback from higher-tiered engineers. Participate in training sessions and workshops and share newly acquired knowledge with peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with up to 3 years experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and reporting methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques is a plus.
• Experience with Excel and Python or R is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
