Card Delivery Officer

Role Objective

The Card Delivery Officer will ensure prompt processing of all cards/security PIN codes for all retail and corporate customers, post-issuing phase, as per the approved cards processing procedures, and SLAs. The incumbent will maintain stock register, ensure timely embossing of cards, and security PIN codes, as applicable, and guide the Dispatch Assistants in packing and dispatching of the same to respective locations, within the prescribed time limit.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform all operational activities as assigned by the Card Delivery Officer, in compliance with local regulations, Doha Bank’s policies and approved Card Processing policies and procedures.
• Download the embossing file for generating new/ renewed credit/debit/Dpay/Click cards, post issue of the same by the Card Issuing Officers.
• Prepare stock sheet, in line with the embossing file, for embossing the plastic cards for generating new/ renewed credit/debit/Dpay/Click cards.
• Liaise with the Card Delivery Team Leader to obtain plastic cards, in line with the stock requirements, and perform embossing and quality check of the same post-embossing, in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the new/ renewed credit/debit/Dpay/Click cards, and security pin codes are packed within the prescribed time limit, as per the procedural guidelines.
• Ensure that the embossed/packed cards and security PIN mailers are dispatched to the respective locations, in line with the delivery/dispatch requests raised by the branches/DSA/call center, as applicable.
• Promptly reconcile, balance and return all the un-used plastic cards, to the Card Delivery Team Leader, post embossing activity.
• Liaise with the Administrative/ Central Archives representative for transfer of records for archiving to the Archives and Records center, and further retrieval on account for reference, or litigation and/or other reasons, as directed by the reporting officer.
• Ensure that the respective customers are duly contacted, whose cards has been returned to ascertain reasons, post-dispatch from the Cards delivery unit.
• Ensure that the embossed new/ renewed D-Bank cards and corresponding Security PIN codes are dispatched to the respective e-channel representatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University graduate with a degree in Business or Banking or Finance or any other related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Management any other related discipline will be an added advantage
• 05-08 years of total experience in financial services/banking industry, entailing responsibilities pertaining to the specific area of discipline.
• Experience in card delivery operations in banking industry.
• Bilingual (Arabic & English)
