General Manager

Security Group – Doha Based

The General Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security strategies to ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and facilities. This role demands strategic leadership, risk management expertise, and the ability to manage a high-performing security team. The incumbent will assess vulnerabilities, enhance protocols, and align security operations with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Operations

1. Develop and execute security strategies, policies, and procedures.

2. Oversee daily security operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

3. Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.

4. Align security practices with business goals in collaboration with senior management.

Resource & Budget Management

5. Manage security budgets, procurement, and resource allocation.

6. Evaluate and deploy advanced security technologies and equipment.

Training & Incident Response

7. Design and deliver training programs for security personnel.

8. Lead emergency response efforts, investigations, and crisis management.

Stakeholder Collaboration

9. Liaise with law enforcement, clients, and external agencies.

10. Monitor emerging threats and technological advancements in security.

Working Relationships

Internal:Senior Management, Cross-functional teams.

External: Clients, Government/Law Enforcement, Security Vendors.

The Person

- 15+ years in security operations, with 10+ years in leadership roles in the GCC preferably Qatar

- Proven track record in risk assessment, crisis management, and strategic planning.
