• We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Monitoring Engineer to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our organization’s infrastructure.
• You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining monitoring systems across various IT platforms and services to provide proactive insights into system health, availability, and performance.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring continuous uptime and minimal disruption to business operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement, configure, and manage monitoring systems (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Datadog) to oversee servers, databases, networks, applications, and other IT resources.
• Respond promptly to alerts and notifications of system failures or performance degradation.
• Define, tune, and optimize alerts to prevent alert fatigue and ensure meaningful and actionable alerts.
• Assist in forecasting resource requirements and monitoring trends to ensure capacity planning aligns with business needs.
• Collaborate with systems administrators, network engineers, and other teams to resolve issues and optimize system performance. Technical Skills:
