Our client is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer / AWS Solutions Engineer to join its growing IT team. This role involves supporting cloud-based infrastructure, designing secure and scalable architectures, and driving cloud migration initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in the planning, development, and implementation of new cloud-based systems and services, focusing on architecture, security, and integrations.
• Oversee migration of on-premise solutions to the cloud and configure new environments according to established standards.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning in the cloud environment.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of all relevant work processes to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
• Act as a designated member of the cloud operations team, managing cloud platforms and resolving issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, and performance optimisation for cloud infrastructure.
• Handle 3rd-level cloud support requests within agreed service levels.
• Coordinate with external vendors to maintain service continuity and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
• Safeguard the integrity and security of data across all cloud services and backup solutions.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field, or equivalent IT training with relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, particularly in security, integrations, cloud automation, and DevOps.
• Proficiency with Terraform and container management tools (Docker, ECS, EKS/Kubernetes); Docker Compose experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Windows server administration and infrastructure.
• Strong command of German and English (minimum C1 level).
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Admin, Security Specialty) are an advantage.
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking, organisational abilities, and communication skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a high degree of personal responsibility.
