Private Equity Associate

Associate – Private Equity (Tech/Software Focus) | Düsseldorf

Our client is a well-known, reputable international private equity buyout fund with a strong track record of investing in high-growth tech and software companies. As they continue to expand their footprint, they're looking for a top-performing Associate to join their team in Düsseldorf.

What you'll do:

• Support the full deal lifecycle – from sourcing to execution and portfolio management
• Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling
• Conduct market and competitor research in the tech/software sector
• Collaborate with management teams and advisors during transactions
• Prepare investment memos and present to IC

What we're looking for:

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking or PE
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Solid understanding of software/tech business models
• Self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills
• Fluent in German is mandatory
