Senior Business Analyst (Contract, Remote)

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for gathering, understanding, analyzing, and creating different types of business requirements, designing and implementing IT solutions, complex business process optimization, communicating with stakeholders, and keeping up with the latest trends and technologies. This position plays a vital role in bridging the gap between the different business units and the technical personnel within a project team and helping the company achieve its goals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth analysis for complex business-optimization projects across different independent departments
Translate business ideas into clearly structured requirements: formalization, documentation, and visualization of requirements
Interact with businesses and developers from the design stage to implementation, quality control to project closure
Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing requirements, communicating progress, and managing expectations
Analyzing data and providing results using Excel / Google Sheets / Power BI / SQL (nice to have)
Developing and maintaining the documentation
Being involved in multiple projects at the same time
Identify and assess risks associated with proposed solutions
Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry
Participate in the supplier selection process, evaluating the usefulness and cost of products and making appropriate recommendations

Skills:

Ability to effectively guide BA activities across all delivery phases (e.g., elicitation, requirements management, etc.)
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, in both written and oral forms
Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
Effective problem-solver, with great analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to accurately assess project/business analysis risks

Requirements:

Strong research and analytical skills are a must
In-depth experience in process analysis and optimization
Experience in requirement gathering, business process modeling, and gap analysis.
4+ years of experience in a similar role
B2+ level of English
Certification in business analysis, such as the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification will be a plus
Experience in working with Agile methodologies on large-scale projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Expertise in creating and describing different types of requirements (e.g., business, user, system, transition requirements, etc.)
Experience with RnD projects, understanding of the complexities and processes of developing these solutions
Advanced knowledge of requirements management tools
Experience with RnD projects, understanding of the complexities and processes of developing these solutions
Experience with integrating different IT systems and applications
Knowledge and ability to use UML and BPMN modeling
A BS or MS degree in business, IT, or a related field will be a plus
Experience with cloud platforms, big data technologies, and AI will be a plus
