We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our client's data team in Luxembourg. This role involves collaborating with their global data team to enhance and support our enterprise analytical reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing advanced analytical solutions, exploring various data sources, and contributing to data management initiatives to meet their current and future information needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced analytical solutions, including data specifications, analysis, modeling, and design.
  • Serve as a liaison between business departments and technical teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and management to present findings and insights through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
  • Translate technical data into actionable recommendations and develop predictive models and algorithms.
  • Conduct data profiling, analysis, and modeling to support operational and decision support systems.
  • Identify business challenges that can be addressed through data analysis and develop data-driven solutions.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, or a related technical field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in data analysis or related projects.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, data warehousing, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence technologies and solutions (e.g., MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
  • Experience with cloud data environments and methodologies (e.g., Azure ADLS, Azure ADF, Azure Synapse, Power BI Service).


  • Proficiency in moderating meetings and facilitating constructive design sessions.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German and French is advantageous.
