Summary Of The Role

• Oversees the accounting, reporting, and analysis of a company's financial performance
• Be an integral part of our controlling strategic finance partner team and support both our team and internal customers in the Controlling processes and special projects
• Support our team to provide recommendations to the operational management on how to reach their objectives
• Work closely with the management team and other stakeholders to provide strategic guidance, ensure compliance, and optimize efficiency
  
  

Your Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and reports
• Manage purchasing process (making orders, cooperation with vendors, invoice validation)
• Support both in the Controlling processes of Closing, Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting but also in projects, e.g. business transformation, tax, payroll services
• Support in the preparation of the business cases and support of go/no go decision making processes concerning specific projects
• Coordinate and provide controlling support for defined perimeters
• Support in preparation for data analysis of variations between plan and actuals, prepare presentations and reports
• Perform checks for data consistency and completeness
• Coordinate and support on master data in line with guidelines and policies
• Coordinate billing process (data validation, cooperation with the customers)
• Support other finance teams by providing information or validation of figures.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting policies
• Coordinate and support external audits and external tax company KPMG
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to senior management and other departments
• Coordinate and provide support to P&C in relation to salaries, insurances, medical checks and other local legislation reporting
• Be a business partner for GM
• Administration support (travel orders, building maintenance, postal services, )
• Follow local legislation and provide reporting statistics
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
  
  

About The Ideal Candidate

• University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• At least six years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis
• Proficient in using accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Office
• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitasking
• Fluent in English, Serbo-Croatian language language is an advantage.
