Senior .NET Backend Developer

A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for an experienced back-end developer to support with the development of our data acquisition and edge platform/s that enable our customers to collect and processes data, send it to cloud backends as well as deploy our digital products at the edge. We are seeking profiles that have solid experience in coding in the C#.Net and/or .NET Core, SQL (like Postgres, MS SQL Server, MySQL) databases, API design and application containerization.

As a backend developer you will support the team by building back-end services and solutions to improve our solution frameworks and products. You should be able to deliver rapidly in a reliable manner with the highest quality standards. You should be curious, passionate about problem solving, building and self-improving.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will support the team by building back-end services and solutions for our data acquisition and edge platform/s that enable our customers to collect and processes data, send it to cloud backends as well as deploy our digital products at the edge.
• You will be responsible for developing new reusable code and libraries for future use, and ensure the technical feasibility of existing and future BE designs
• You will be responsible to ensure error free code through testing and working with QA teams to ensure quality standards are met
• You will be required to work and communicate with team members, product owners, internal stake holders and clients to ensure user requirements are understood, and design expectations are met
  
  
  

What You Bring

Excellent knowledge:

• 10+ years of recent hands-on coding and software design in C#.Net
• Database technologies (Postgres, MS SQL Server, MySQL…) and time series databases such as Timescale
• Experience with setting up and working with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
• High and matured writing and speaking skills in English
  
  
  

Good to have:

• Google Remote Procedure Call - gRPC
• API use, design and development, such as RESTful
• Ansible
• Well-versed using GITLab
• Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Experience in international projects
