Senior Java Developer

Rate: 160-180 PLN/h

Contract: B2B 12 months + prolongations. (long term)

Remote: up to 100%

Location: remote/ Warsaw.

Project language: English.

Business trips: up to 8 trips per year do DK.

Recruitment process: 2 interviews.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join one of our dynamic teams. This role is crucial as you will be responsible for upgrading our existing system from an older Java version (1.6) to a more recent version (17, 21, or 23).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Upgrade the existing Java system to the latest version, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the sales flow by integrating the Java frontend with new microservices.
• Develop and maintain build scripts using Ant and Maven to streamline the development process.
• Utilize SWT (Standard Widget Toolkit) for user interface development and enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in Java development, specifically with upgrading Java applications.
• Strong knowledge of Java (versions 1.6 and above).
• Familiarity with Ant and Maven build tools.
• Experience with SWT (Standard Widget Toolkit) for UI development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
