Job Description:

The Deputy Country Manager at BYD Turkey will play a crucial role in collaborating with the Country Manager to oversee and manage various aspects of the company's operations within Turkey. This strategic position requires a dynamic individual with extensive local market knowledge who can drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and ensure effective management across departments to achieve overall business objectives, with a particular focus on boosting BYD car sales in the Turkish market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market and Product Analysis:
• Conduct in-depth analysis of the Turkish automotive market, focusing on electric vehicle trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Analyze BYD's product portfolio and identify opportunities for optimization to meet local market demands.
• Sales Strategy Development and Implementation:
• Collaborate with the Country Manager to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and achieving sales targets in Turkey.
• Leverage local market insights to tailor sales approaches and product offerings to Turkish consumer preferences.
• Team Management:
• Lead and motivate a diverse team across sales, aftersales, product, and marketing departments.
• Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence, with a focus on achieving team and company goals.
• Dealership Network Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential dealership partners.
• Identify opportunities to expand BYD's dealership network in Turkey, ensuring optimal market coverage and brand representation.
• Brand Building and Marketing:
• Spearhead brand-building initiatives to enhance BYD's visibility and reputation in the Turkish market.
• Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional events, and PR activities tailored to the Turkish audience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal departments such as finance, operations, and HR to ensure alignment across different functions.
• Act as a liaison between the Turkish office and global headquarters, facilitating effective communication and implementation of corporate initiatives.
• Business Operations Management:
• Oversee the overall business operations of various departments, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to optimize departmental performance.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Country Manager.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in senior management roles within the automotive industry in Turkey, with a strong focus on sales and marketing.
• Extensive knowledge of the Turkish automotive market, including regulatory environment, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies in the Turkish market.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills, particularly in product and market analysis.
• Fluency in Turkish and English.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions.
