GE Vingmed Ultrasound A/S, a part of GE HealthCare, is a market leader in production and development of cardiovascular ultrasound devices. We are now seeking an intermediate level software developer to strengthen our R&D team within display and image analysis. You will join a global team of highly motivated expert engineers with a focus on topics such as image filtering, 3D image navigation and rendering, quantification/measurements, real-time analysis, AI solutions and workflow optimizations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and test high-performance software in the medical ultrasound imaging domain.
  • Leverage modern test-driven development (TDD) techniques to ensure high quality software.
  • Produce high quality technical documentation, adhering to the high standards set by the medical industry.
  • Collaborate on global development projects within GE HealthCare.

Qualifications

We seek candidates having a degree within computer science / software engineering / medical imaging or other relevant discipline. Both experienced and less experienced applicants will be considered. We are looking for candidates strongly motivated to work with medical imaging, with knowledge within 3 or more of the following areas:

  • Image Processing (Computer Vision / Image Analysis / Image Fusion)
  • Modern C++ (14/17/20)
  • Software architecture and solid design principles
  • Test-driven development and Agile methodology
  • GPU programming (DirectX, OpenGL, CUDA, OpenCL)
  • Graphics and rendering algorithms
  • Experience with deployment of AI models

Other useful qualifications for this role::

  • Python
  • User interface programming (WPF, Qt)
  • Operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Concurrency programming (GPU and multicore)
  • Experience with medical imaging
