The role:

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join a fast-growing Cybersecurity company focused on awareness and resilience.

You will be part of an ambitious and fast-growing team, scaling the product and continuously adding new features.

The product:

The SaaS product helps companies assess their workforce's awareness and resilience to phishing attacks by launching simulated threats. We then track who "falls for the trap" and analyse which individuals and departments are most vulnerable—and to what type of threats.

What sets this SaaS product apart from others on the market is that it is completely self-managed by the customer's IT department via the accompanying platform.

This allows organisations to continuously assess security risks over time at a lower cost than competing products and services on the market.

What’s next in our growth plans?

Having achieved incredible success in domestic and Nordic markets, we are now expanding into new territories across Europe and beyond.

To do this, we need you to help scale the platform, add new features, and write the APIs that will support millions of requests!

We are looking for:

• 3+ years of backend software engineering experience (or less if you specialise in our tech stack). You should be comfortable designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems.
• Strong team player who enjoys collaborating with other developers, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a positive engineering culture. You'll be joining our team of three backend developers and working closely with frontend engineers and product managers.
• Experience in a modern tech start-up with an understanding of agile development, rapid iteration, and the challenges of scaling a growing product.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining APIs that support high-volume traffic and complex business logic.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues, optimise performance, and contribute to system architecture improvements.
