Cybersecurity Analyst

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support security operations, identify threats, and ensure the integrity of IT systems. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management activities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs using SIEM tools.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation efforts.
• Support incident response and security investigations.
• Maintain security documentation and develop user awareness materials.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure security best practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence, SIEM tools, and incident handling.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS security frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SSCP) are an asset.
