Job Description:

Capgemini is seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer / Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. This role is ideal for mid-senior level professionals who are passionate about software development and eager to work on innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Hands-on with Java features like Streams API, JVM, JPMS
• Deep knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, best coding practices
• Good grip on multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning
• Banking domain experience – should have worked in financial services environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in Java development (2 -9+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Apache Spark, Aurelia js, Kafka, NoSQL, Janus graph, MongoDB, TDD, BDD
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
