Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Secure Supply Chain Software Engineer to join our SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) team. This role focuses on enhancing the security of the software supply chain by building and integrating systems that identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in third-party components across various codebases including backend, frontend, infrastructure, and mobile.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop systems to secure the entire software supply chain.
• Build and integrate tools for detecting third-party vulnerabilities in libraries, OS, and container components.
• Integrate security solutions with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and build attestation systems.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure and security teams to deliver robust, secure solutions.
• Work directly with developers to embed secure supply chain practices into development workflows.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Java, Python.
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages and software development paradigms.
• Solid understanding of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
• Strong foundation in networking protocols: TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, SSH, etc.
• Experience with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of large distributed systems development and operations.
• Ability to manage performance, availability, and scalability of mid-to-large scale systems.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Kafka or similar event streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with relational databases.
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and best practices.
